To Go or Not To Go

Really heart breaking to see what Japan and the Japanese are going through at this moment. I felt extremely sad for what had happened over these few days. My heart felt so heavy but still, following the latest news from CCTV everyday watching for the latest developments of the nuclear plant issue which worries me the most and the nation of future destruction to the country and globally.

On the early morning before the massive earthquake, I was having a bad dream. I dreamt that I am preparing for a bad Tsunami situation and I can see the pre-earthquake clouds starts forming above me. While the sky keeps getting darker, rains starts to pour, earth starts trembling, buildings and trees were swaying in a distorted form. We were running fast trying to avoid the collapsing buildings around us. People was shouting and crying. I was rushing towards the streets jammed pack with cars running towards home where Angel and Annabelle was. Rain pouring down my face and skies turned into a frightening dark purple, water starts rushing in under my feet from nowhere. What I was in mind was Angel! Annabelle! and I must find them fast ....... and suddenly, I was woken by my ringing mobile from my travel agent! *wipe sweat* I was breathing real fast when I could finally take my first breath. The dream was so vivid that I thought I was really in that horrifying catastrophe! I am so glad that I am not! I saw sunlight, I breathe fresh air, and I am just so glad that I am still alive ........ until I watched what happened few hours later to Japan.

I can do nothing and no one can do anything but watched the disasters and power of nature take it cause. I take the news with a heavy heart thinking that will 2012 become a reality? I am not worry about 'that day' if the day will eventually come. No point to worry too :P :P Just that I am curious, will that day come sooner then I thought? Are we so intelligent to correctly predicted that day? Just pure curious ...

I will be pray for the people suffering in Japan, I hope that those who did escape from the massive quake and those who were still stranded near the Fukushima nuclear plant can evacuate from the contaminated area until it's declare safe again. I am following the development of the radiation issue closely because, China is not that far from Japan actually (>.<)?. The effects of such radiation is just too scary for me. But I am hoping and I am sure, everything will be alright soon, I know it will!

However, another dilemma posted ..... we have booked our holidays to Seoul, Korea in the beginning of April and now, I am thinking whether I should scraped my trip as Seoul is quite near to Japan? I will not worry so much if I am alone but you can call me 'the most timid mom' on earth when Angel is tagging along. I am sure that the government will not alert the people too much (to avoid create too much chaos) if the situation is still under their control, until they have had not much power to do anything anymore which will be too late then. I called up my travel agent and they told me it's safe in Korea and asked me to wait for further notice if there will be any. (O.O)? So should I cancel or not cancel now? Such a dilemma ....

For me, I am still taking every factor into consideration. I am just hoping that I'm not being over paranoid. What about you? Will you go or not to go if your next holiday destination is near to Japan (e.g. Korea)?

P/s: I starts to think now, how about Hong Kong? (>.<)?
P/s 2: After watching the news, suddenly I have a strong urge wanting to joining the rescue team in Japan! Praying for world peace!

Bento #10: Frosty The Snowman

Winter will be over soon. Although the weather is still very cold and temperature were still near to zero at most of the nights, but I think it will be unlikely to snow again. Oh .... I start to miss those pretty winter snow now.

Soon, this fountain will melt and the fishes inside the pond will be happily swimming around again. I couldn't believe the gold fishes survived the cold winter days under that thick icy fountain!

Of course, Angel always loved snowy days. I love to Look at her little face all brighten up kicking and catching the snow with her mouth. She have slipped 'hard' several time in the slippery pathway but I am glad that I wrapped her all up in that thick clothing which protected her well.

We can stay in the snow for hours until I realised I haven't got our dinner ready yet! Gosh ..... to much fun for both of us enjoying every bits of the cold winter days. Just the 2 of us :)

She got herself a new small umbrella too just because she saw my umbrella was full of snow, and then she 'taught' me the way of remove them by hitting the umbrella hard on the floor until it was crooked! Not a good idea after all, my dear! Couldn't believe my eyes that she was that rough strong.

Well, that day it snowed so heavily until someone manage to built a huge snowman which is taller then her!

Not only huge snowman. We found some kids around the neighbourhood built a few of very cute little snowman along the sidewalk too! That was really cute!

Angel tried to build her own snowman too which turn out to look like ..... anything but a snowman *smile* But she is having great fun until both of us forgot about the time and rush back home at night after a good 4 hours playing in the snow!

I prepared a snowman bento (in-a-plate coz I'm in a rush preparing other dishes) for little Angel that night which she was totally overwhelmed. I am glad that she likes her Mr. Frosty The Snowman for dinner :)

As you can see, fish balls were hidden underneath those rice balls which she loves so much :)

I guess it's time to say goodbye to Mr. Frosty for the moment being as well as our cold winter days. Hope to see you again soon, Mr. Frosty. But not so soon ya! ^_^

Minor Changes In Blog Headers

Nothing much was done coz ……. I ‘JUST’ found out I have forgotten how to photoshop!!!! Urrrggghhhh!!!!!! How could that be?? HOW COULD THAT BE???!!!! *screaming*

Anyway, after struggling hard, finally Annabelle was added into the big picture and therefore:

"A KISS OF AN ANGEL" now officially welcoming another new member ^_^

^ ^ Old header ......

^ ^ Ta daaa ~~ Two is definitely more merrier ^_^

That goes the same with my multiply header. Still, nothing much has been done but Annabelle is now happily being added into the header too ^_^

^ ^ Still using Angel’s old picture there coz hubby was against me changing it. That photo of Angel is actually his favourite of all.

******************

Angel noticed my new blog header and said to me:

"Mommy, why did you put Annabelle's picture up there? Can you please take her down? I like (to be) one person there wor ~~"

A White Winter 2010

^ ^ It’s a white winter which comes early this year.

It is winter time here in Shanghai and we expected our first white winter yesterday. It was snowing quite heavily with strong winds and since Angel is having mild flu while I am not in my pink of health, we only managed to enjoy the beautiful scene from inside our little warm and cozy home. Luckily the windows was cleaned few days before hand ^_^

^ ^ Brrrr ..... it’s freezing cold!

The snowing stopped in the late afternoon. Hubby heard from the locals that it’s good for kids to have some ‘chilling’ time outside the house once in awhile as to get use to the cold weather and prepare for the real cold winter. According to them, it will make them have stronger immunity and fight the flu too. So there they went, enjoying some great time in the snow while I just have to give it a pass :)

^ ^ She was so happy ^_^ After they came back only I realized that hubby drag her out of the house to the chilly weather only with her indoor clothing on!!!! Oh, MAN!!! @_@

Should I say that I am relief that Annabelle is not with me during this cold winter time as I think she might not get use to the cold. Angel love air conditioning while Annabelle will keep sneezing in a 25 degree celsius air-con room. Oh .... I miss my little girl so much!! Well ..... we’ll see how it goes :)

^ ^ Oh ....... Someone build a SNOWMAN too!!!

It Is Snowing!!

It’s quite unusual to get snow during winter time in areas such as here in Shanghai but this year, it did!!! It happened on the 27th December (Sunday) around 1.30pm and those snowflakes are quite visible and lasted for a few hours too ^_^

It’s Snowing!! Woo~~ Whooo ~~~!!!

When our friend SMS us that it snow, we saw raindrops outside our window and thought it was a joke but with a blow of the wind, suddenly all the raindrops slowly changing into snowflakes! So we quickly grab whatever jacket we can reach for and ran outside like mad. It’s such an amazing view as if we were in a fairyland! Angel was absolutely thrilled and she jumped and squealed with delights “Snow~~! Look …. SNOW~~!!! Wah~~!”. Only then I found out it’s actually very difficult to capture a good decent picture of snowing with a normal digital camera and also a kid running like mad from east to west ‘chasing’ the snow ^_^

Manage to force Angel to stand still for a picture with some tiny snowflakes on her hair before they melts :P

Not that Angel is trying to chase the snowflakes and catch them with both hands, but she was trying to catch them with her mouth and laugh happily if she felt ice in her mouth too :P The wind was blowing strongly and I could see Angel’s face were all wet and she could hardly opened her eyes as winds keeps bringing snowflakes into her eyes :P Oh dear ….. although I could see that she is having soooooo much fun but to avoid catching a cold during winter time, too bad we have to cut her fun time short this round.

She was trying to catch the snow with her mouth wide opened LoL

It was simply amazing to experience all these in a city that rarely snow and hopefully, the cold weather will bring in more snow in the coming days :) We began to enjoy winter time a little more now ^_^

Her First ‘Few’ Snowflakes

* but sadly no picture was taken coz the snowflakes are really too ‘few’ to be capture by the camera :( :( *

While I was gazing outside the window, suddenly I saw that the raindrops today seem a little larger then usual and I look closer ……. OMG, it’s some snowflakes mixing with the rain! So I started to shouted uncontrollably with all I might for Angel who is doing her caterpillar crawl *again* outside our bedroom corridor

“ANGELLLLL~~~~!! COME QUICK~~~~~!!!!! IT’S SNOWING~~~~!!!!!!!!!!”

Then suddenly I saw her running like a lightning, shaking and look a little frighten while whining a little, rushing towards me hugging me tide ….. oh dear, I must have frighten this poor little girl with my sudden loud shout, poor girl!! *sorry dear*

After she has calm down, I show her the ‘very few’ snowflakes falling from the sky outside our house and tell her that they were snow. Although it just lasted for 1-2 minutes and melted before even touching the land, I think no one can really noticed that it’s snowing if they didn’t look closer but at least Angel did see ‘some’ of her first few snowflakes today :P It has been years since my last snow and I kind of missing it at this moment though ……..

However, I do hope that we could hang on till the day we really see some snow here coz at the mean time, all I could think about and longing for was the warm and nice hot weather back in Malaysia/ Bangkok. Although the people here keep telling me that it won’t snow in Shanghai during winter time but I am just keeping my wish. It did snow once and only once here few years back so I am keeping my finger crossed! :)

Right now, the first thing I really need to do is to ask hubby to get me and Angel both a raincoat so if ‘miracle’ does happen again, we will be the first one to zoom out of the house and feel it for real ^_^

Greetings from Shang*hai!

Hello there .... I know I know, we have been missing in action for way too long! Everything are fine here and thanks for all the "hello"s and comments posted in our blog ^_^

The reason for our MIA being that we have just moved to SHANG*HAI, CHI*NA (yes, we are moving again :P) and too bad the government here didn't permit (i.e. BLOCK) the access of blogspot, multiply, facebook, youtube, personal blogs etc and lots & lots more websites including constantly banned other websites which 'helps' others in China to get access to those banned websites mention above, SIGH!!! Which means I am having a tough time accessing all your blogs and sites including mine too ever since ..... double SIGH!!!!! Anyway, I do hope that I will fine 'other' way to get access to my precious blogs like this round (but with very limited function) and at the same time visiting your blog too to do some catching up if possible! Really missed all your blogs to death and missing to be able to blog-hop freely so much!!!!

At the mean time, just a short note from Mommy and Angel saying that we are fine here and hopefully we will be settling down and well in no time and also, let's hope that I will be able to blog hopping as previously soon too (hopefully I manage to find a way la) ^_^

Take care ya :)

A New Header and Layout

After 8 months of having the previous red hot header, I think it’s time for a new one. I start with a while / purple idea in mind but didn't know how I ended with a pink header instead. Once the header is up, it doesn't go with the burgundy layout anymore :( So no choice …. but after searching for hours for a decent template, I totally gave up. At last, I have to custom made my own layout from scratch (i.e. from a piece of blank sheet) using MS word, Power Point, Paint brush, Photoshop, etc :( :(

It takes few days and a lot of try and error to put them together and finally, my new blog look is up and running!! *Wipe sweat* I didn’t know how I manage to get them right at the end but I need to thank hubby for his 'help' too :) :) I think it certainly worth the effort + time spend and it’s really nice to see a brand new look in my blog too :) Although I am not that fancy about Pink (I'd like to have white ...) and although my first custom made theme is not perfectly done but I think I am contented with it for now :) After all, it’s my few days of sacrificing my beauty sleep :P

^ ^ Bye Bye to my beloved 8 months old 'Old Header' and the Burgundy red layout, love the colour still :)

^ ^ My New Header and layout ..... simple, bright and very Pink! Can't believe I've done it finally :P Do you think it's a bit too bright / pink??

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

While me and hubby were still busy with our own stuffs, suddenly Angel calling to me with her soft voice “Mommy ~~, Mommy~~, See ~~ See~~!! ” while gazing upon the sky and I thought she spotted another aeroplane again. So feeling a little disturbed with what I am doing, but still .... I went over to her while stroking her soft hair and look up ….. oh my! it’s a very pretty rainbow after the rain. This is also the first time she saw a rainbow coz normally she didn't have the chance to really see the rainbow (she would now pronounce it was 'Meh-Mow' instead of rainbow LoL) and now that she spotted her first rainbow, so I took out her little book with the rainbow pictures in it and starts showing her how pretty the real one is compare to the one in the book. Yes .... it definitely looks different .......

And when I look closer, it’s not only 1 rainbow but 2 rainbows actually …. It’s so breathe taking!! It makes me think that sometimes we who living in the city are really too occupied with our daily busy life routine and the fast pace of things around us (work, chores, errands, etc). It seems that the older we gets, the more that we are holding our heads down - busy (while kids will always look up and around) and concentrate too much on what’s piling before us, on our table or in our mind. And sometimes with the presence of a ‘cutie pie’ in our life and attending to their call, it gives us a chance to see things at their level and through their eyes, sometimes wanted us to slow down and pay attention to things that we have long forgotten, share their little world of curiosity, …… and also head raised looking up once in awhile and we might be surprise to notice something beautiful too ……

Can you spot the 2nd Rainbow on top? Isn't it so pretty?

Hhhmmm …. This reminds me of a story I once came across. I think it’s something like this …… there was a man who brought a snail for a walk and how he complains the snail is crawling too slow and delay his every steps. And along the way while he walked slowly, he starts to notice the beautiful scenery along the way, smells the flowers and feel the breeze, etc and at the end, he only realised that it’s the snail who brought the man for a walk, wanted him to slow down once in awhile, so that he could enjoy the world and see the world in from different perspectives :) How true it is ....

** Thank you my sweet little Angel for showing Mommy your first little 'Meh-Mow' (rainbow) up there :)

So Dark!!

Yippie ….. an hour of pure silence of candle light night!! Our 60 Earth Hour was a pleasant experience for our little family actually. We switched off almost everything in our house except 1 fan in the living room (Ya …. Not prepared for a sauna at that moment yet :P). When the clock strikes 8.30pm and we switched off the final lighting in our house, 15 minutes later, we could feel the difference …….. Our house is not as hot as before, we can actually feel the cold air circulating inside the living room with no unnecessary heat generated from the computer, the TV, the standby DVD player, the lightings, etc. Really cannot imagine how much heat was produced just from these electrical appliances and the lightings alone. That’s certainly something that our little family hasn’t really experience before and I am glad that we did participate in this event and real life experience will always makes stronger statement / impression then anything else. We did feel the difference ourselves. I am sure from now one, we will have this 60 earth hour at our little home sweet home pretty often guess as we still have the remaining candles, isn’t that great?

Angel is quite happy to see the candles and lights off actually but as our naughty girl running around the house with dim candle lights, it’s a bit tough to make sure her don’t hurt herself as she cannot see her way clearly and nearly knock into the corners of our dinning table a few times :) I will make sure we come to a solution for that area before another round of ‘candle light night’ again :)

All and all, we are glad that we did it and also we are happy that our 60 Earth Hour experience is not just a ‘do for fun event’ but a event that has make a change in our lifestyle from now on.

Sooooooo dark in our living room, can’t really see a thing :P

Oh, Who’s that?? Can you see Angel’s face …. (eerrrmm, shadow) in the picture?? LoL

Oue Preparations For Earth Hour 2009

I came to know about Earth Hour few weeks ago from Cath’s Blog. It is a global WWF Climate Change Awareness Campaign urging people all around the world to show support of action for climate change by turning out our lights (unessential lights) for 1 hour, on the 28th March (Saturuday), 2009 at 8.30pm local time. This is an annual and global event which trying to influence people’s attitude towards energy consumption (carbon reduction) and it’s impact on the planet. This event has been carried out very successfully and this year 2009, it aims to reach out to 1 billion people around 1000 cities including Malaysia where a lot of individual, bodies and huge companies naming a few such as our famous landmark

• PETRONAS Twin Towers (KLCC), Dataran Merdeka,
• shopping centers such as 1 U & Mid Valley & The Curve at Selangor,
• up north to Penang Bridge,
• down south to Aeon Bukit Indah Johor,
• retails such as Starbucks & Jusco & Tesco all around the country,
• Starhills, Genting, Sunway Group, IOI group etc
• Various Banks & Universities & Hotels , .....etc
• and many more (the list is sooooooo long),

all will be joining hand in hand to show supports for Earth Hour. This should be a very huge event and I am glad we as Malaysian will be able to show our concern and support towards this meaningful plead by WWF for climate change around the world.

More information can be found at here http://www.earthhour.org.my/main.php

I am so anxious to participate in this event myself as well and also registered to become a member with the organisation. I will switch off all my house lights, computer, TV and all the non essential lightings and electrical appliances in my house for an hour. But in order not to frighten Angel in a total darkness in the house, I have prepared for these ….

Candles …… that’s the only way I can participate with a young toddler at home :P

According to the Champaign, if I were to use candles, I am suppose to use100% beeswax or soy candle which are smoke free, non-toxic, non allergenic and made with natural product and effectively carbon neutral (the CO2 they emit has already been taken from the atmosphere to produce the wax) but I am not sure whether the candles which I bought fit into the categories but it’s stated 'Smoke Free' though. Ah well …. I will stick with these candles since I have already bought them :)

So lets support Earth Hour in fighting global warming with the switches in our house!! I hope that Angel will not mistaken it for her birthday 'again' when I switch off the lights :P Who else is participating?

Where Are My Files??

Just now while I am half way blogging, hubby called and asked me to look for some documents ….. so I left and put Angel on her favourite DVD. When I returned, I saw that she was extremely concentrated in front of my computer holding onto my mouse (as usual ….. ) and I didn’t pay much attention to that and carried her down from the seat then move on to make her milk. Finally she took her nap and when I returned to my computer, I was horrified to see that I am in the “CUSTOMISE” page and when I look closely, OMG, some of my posts were missing …. Even my blog format has changed with some missing elements too! Gosh ….. She deleted my files!!!

Actually this is not the first time she has deleted things from my computer, few weeks back I also accidentally found that I can’t find some of the pictures which I’ve saved on my desktop and later when I am using the search to relocated them, I found them in the Recycle Bin folder!!! Since then I only starts to pay attention to her while she is messing with my computer again …. Then I only realised that actually Angel is able to use the mouse pretty well and also hold it the correct way as if we adults were holding it. She even knows how to ‘Right’ click and ‘Left’ click (but didn’t know what’s the difference between them 2 of course … she would just click click click), moving the cursor in the screen and also use the ‘scroll’ button (in the middle of the mouse) by using her index finger moving the page up and down!!!! Maybe she has been watch me net surfing too much or I really have been on the net too much lately?? The other reason was also because I am using a very colourful light-up Hello Kitty Mouse and that’s why she pays more attention to it when I am net surfing?? (she use to sit beside me whenever I am online).

It took me few hours to just to retrieve and also reinstalled 80% of the elements in my blog back!! I am glad that she didn’t delete my entire blog away or any of the program files ( I hope). I don’t think I can retrieve some of those unsaved file back which she’d deleted from my blog, sigh! :( :( I just hope that she didn’t deleted something important which I am still not aware off, and also hope those deleted stuffs which I still unaware off are those unimportant stuffs! I think from this moment onwards, I will have to turn my computer off totally just in case that she deleted my programs files then I will surely be in big trouble!!! Can’t believe that a merely 1 year + baby knows how to create such a mess just by a few clicks on the mouse!! Last time during our days, I don’t even know what is a computer let alone using a mouse?? Really never under estimate the ability to construct and/or the power to destruct from a young child nowadays :)

Birthday Breaks

It will be my ‘big day’ (again?? so fast??) in a couple of days and just now workaholic hubby surprised me that he has taken a few days leave to ‘brighten up’ my days *smile*. So I guess, I will be very busy ‘being entertained’ (oh my!!!!) as well as get to have some good breaks from the normal cleaning, cooking, baby sitting ... etc for few days :D Hurray!! I’ll have to take a short break from blogging as well just in case hubby complains that I blog too much :) So see you guys real soon :)

A New Header for A New Year 2009

Happy New Year!! This is my first post of the year and as the New Year starts, I am also very glad to say that my blog is having a new customized header for a start at last, Hurray!!! As I am a complete dummy in computer programs, so it too me almost 48 hours (….. few days ago) on and off just to complete my simple header from scratch (yes, I didn’t sleep for 2 days at all coz I get to concentrate more at night as Angel was asleep and survive merely on coffees during the day :P) but the outcome is very rewarding, at least for my own sense of satisfaction. I don’t think if I were to do it again, I will managed to get the same effects but as a computer dummy, I can’t ask for much, can I ? :) It’s nice to be able to see Angel’s smiling face shinning all over my blog header now. It’s not perfect but at least it’s mommy’s hard work and it’s up there.

P/s: A big Thank you to Mummy Gwen for the idea of the ‘oranges’ too :P

The Moon is Smiling

Long time didn’t get to update my blog and …… I AM BACK!!! Miss all of your blogs to death :P :P and so many things had happened in the past few weeks (the good and the bad). All in all, we are doing fine :)

Yesterday was such a special night as when we (me and hubby) were crossing the streets, there were people gathered around and pointed towards the sky ….. hahaha …. Guess what we saw?? The moon and the stars were actually smiling :P :P What a rare phenomenon …… I do hope that everyday and everywhere, good things and happiness will be always with us :) It really feels extra special to be able to see the moon smiling ….. and it does put a smiling face on each and everyone of us watching …….. :) :)

The Bliss Of Parenthood and a SAHM :)

Life has been pretty hectic for me lately. Last time while Angel was still a tiny crying baby, I would consoled myself that I will be much free to do my own things and be a little more relax when Angel finally can walk and run and play by herself …………. but I think I am not totally correct, at least not until this moment as yet.

Instead, she naps lesser and lesser nowadays and always wanted my attention to the fullest. She wants me to play with her, read her stories books (while she flips the pages without even listening to me), singing songs to her, etc or else, she will be crying and whining until I give in. When I am making her lunch, now and then I have to peep at her to see if she is climbing the dinning chair, jumping on the sofa, pulling out all my safety corner-guards, shifting our furniture around, attempt to break my safety locks with her 'iron fingers', try to climb on top of our glass coffee table to do her normal stuns or even using her books as her skateboard which is so dangerous, etc. If I saw her doing one of her stuns again, I will have to make my 100 meter ran out from the kitchen, sometimes holding whatever I am holding at that moment still (sometimes vege, sometimes meat, and sometimes even a cooking ladle, etc) to rescue her or stopped her from all the dangerous stuffs that she just loves to do. That is why I do not want a safety gate at my kitchen entrance or else, I will have to jump my hurdle as well which I do not know whether I am going to make it :(

Or else, you will hear me shouting, “Angel Nooooooooooo!!!!!” “Angel don’t do that!!!!” ….. etc from the kitchen as loud as the thunder which I think my whole house did trembled a bit. (I hope I am not getting any complains from the neighbours soon.) Sometimes, a 20 minutes cooking time will be dragged until almost an hour or 2 because I have to stop whatever I am doing just to entertain her or attended to her crying needs. Or else, she will be running into the kitchen pulling my pants and crying out loud ……. Sometimes all she wants is for me to give her a little hug …. (Most of the time, it seems like 1 is not enough but a hug in every minute which means I have to stop whatever I am doing basically.) If she finally naps in the afternoon, sometimes I will find myself sitting on the couch lifelessly and noticed that the morning coffee which I had made for myself is already turning into “Kopi ping” sitting nicely on the kitchen table untouched still. If she were still awake during my lunch time, I will have to eat with one hand holding the spoon and trying to swallow my food as fast as possible and at the same time the other hand is trying to hold / stop her from grabbing my food or pulling my plates away or climbing all over me as if she is the monkey and I am the tree. I think my left hand has been doing a lot of exercise and gaining muscles everyday :P Or else, I will be raising my voice with my mouth full, sometimes almost choked ...... asking her not to climb up or under the dinning table knocking her head or worst, pulling my computer cords trying to pull my notebook down from the table, etc.

I hardly can go online nowadays coz as soon as she sees me with my notebook, she will try to pull my hands away from my laptop and whining at the same time asking me to play with her. While she sleep, I need to quickly get those house chores done plus prepare the dishes for dinner time, dish washing, ironing, etc. Sometimes after hubby gets back from work and had our dinner, I need to rush for another round of groceries shopping while hubby looks after Angel. I need to do the shopping as quickly as possible so that I can rush back to bath Angel before the night gets too cold. To add in the fun, Angel refuses to sleep until it was almost 11pm nowadays but I have to lay in bed with her (with so much things to do and not done yet) which means my private times is really almost gone to NIL by now. Sigh!! I can hardly find time to do my own stuffs let alone blogging nowadays …….

I do hope that this will be just another phase of her growing up because I am already totally drained with 1 kid only. Really cannot imagine if I were to have 2 or 3 if they were all as naughty and as demanding as Angel. This is truly the ‘fun’ of parenthood so I might as well enjoy the ‘fun’ of it and attending to her needs because she will always be the priority in my life :) So if you mommies were to see me disappeared from my blog again, you will now what I have been up to lately :) :) I wonder is it only me or other mommies is also having such a hectic schedule and so much ‘FUN’ with the little ones everyday …… (You know what I mean ………… :P :P)

I Found A China-Made!!

Today I am taking some time off to do some ‘checking’ on Angel’s formula, cereals, biscuits, etc just to make sure none of her food is coming from China! I am really concern about the quality of food products and goods with the mark MADE IN CH*NA after the case where toxic industrial chemical Melamine was found not in one but as many as 22 types of milk products in China so far and still adding to the numbers. According to yesterday’s China Press, even furniture MADE IN CH*NA exported to the UK was also found causing 2000 buyers suffers from serious skin problems after contact with the furniture and hospitalized for treatments. I still remember last year there was a huge recalls of FP products due to the toxic paints used in those China-made baby’s toys. I really cannot believe myself now they are actually adding Melamine into babies formulas!!!! What was actually in their mind …. Gosh!!!

Currently Malaysia government has also banned all diaries from China ( but I am not sure whether it’s a recall or just ban for future imports?) What about those products which ware already in the market such as biscuits, ice cream, chocolate, etc which contain milk from China? Luckily after scanning through Angel’s food, I found most of them is from Australia (Heinz) and Indonesia and luckily none of them is China-made (but I am not so sure about those chinese herbs like red dates, etc coz I bought it from the chinese medical shop without proper packaing and labeling). However when I go through my fridge, I found 2 packs of my favourite Wal*s Mini Popper Ice Cream I bought 1 months back were actually Made In China and also contain chinese milk ….. I guess that might contain melamine as well and so sad it has to go into the bin. I just don't want to risk it over some ice cream. I wonders we have been taken so many packs of those mini poppers, will it done bad to our organ already? From now on, I will be selective against what we used and eat which is produced by China coz I really don’t know is there any quality control at all over China made products. How can kilos of Melamine being added into our baby’s formulas for so many years but yet, no one is doing the checking for compliances to food safety regulations until one day, someone dies from food poisoning? Of course I am not saying all China-made food are poisonous but I am really worried and have doubts about their product quality control check for compliances to food safety regulation :( :(

So I really hope all mommies can take some time to scan through all of your bb’s and your family’s food product to avoid consuming those toxic chemicals which was used to make plastics. This is fatal to our human body especially to our young kids so please be more aware and be more selective against food which comes from the Mainland. After these cases, I will think twice before making purchase of any China-made products :(
