Happy New Year!! This is my first post of the year and as the New Year starts, I am also very glad to say that my blog is having a new customized header for a start at last, Hurray!!! As I am a complete dummy in computer programs, so it too me almost 48 hours (….. few days ago) on and off just to complete my simple header from scratch (yes, I didn’t sleep for 2 days at all coz I get to concentrate more at night as Angel was asleep and survive merely on coffees during the day :P) but the outcome is very rewarding, at least for my own sense of satisfaction. I don’t think if I were to do it again, I will managed to get the same effects but as a computer dummy, I can’t ask for much, can I ? :) It’s nice to be able to see Angel’s smiling face shinning all over my blog header now. It’s not perfect but at least it’s mommy’s hard work and it’s up there.
P/s: A big Thank you to Mummy Gwen for the idea of the ‘oranges’ too :P

It is not an easy job to do the header. Even last time my blog's header also done by my husband. So you have done it very well.

The header is really nice. You are not dummy in this lah. To be able to come out with this header is very good already. I don't even no how to do the Magic trick..haha. Very "geng". :)

Hi Ling, I just search for a simple background then insert the picture and make some graphics and pattern on it as well as changing some colour one by one. I am using power point, photoshop, etc because I just do whatever I know and manage to 'click' and it's really need a lot of time for a computer dummy like me, hahaha ..... Glad you like it :)
JT, yeah …. It’s so hard for me because I don’t really know how to use all the editing program so I just try and error and make it one by one, if cannot get it start again until I got it, just click click click lo :( But your hubby do for Sarah’s one is so pro leh :) Yes, I didn’t sleep for 48 hours coz only midnight when Angel was asleep then I have time to experiment it ma.
Mummy Gwen, hahahaha …. I really do it the dummy way leh, just click click click and undo and redo if wrong …… sometimes I don’t really know what I am doing but just click lo and follow the instruction using ‘help’ in the program :) The magic trick is nothing la ....... I use Paint Brush program and just do it as if I was drawing an orange lo. I know there will be other better way of doing it but I don’t know how leh :(

Caroline, Live Spaces can't edit their themes ones, so have to do with what they have lor. I like this blog themes so much! *sigh* thought of switching blogs to bloggers or something else, but can't imagine the massive work to re-do everything again.. *sigh*

You site lagi ‘keng’ leh, got CNY song ….. me and hubby jumps up because when I log into your site, our notebook volume was at max and suddenly “Dong Dong Dong Dong Chiang” …. Hahaha. But I absolutely love the song in your site leh, so CNY mood as well, making me so happy la :)
Esmeralda, actually Live Spaces have a lot of customized theme for you to choose from so I don’t think you need to do your own. Not like blogger, I think very limited customized theme on their site and many users so we need to do something in order not to have our own identity. It really take too much time to do mine until hubby complains already so I think I am not going to do any headers / big changes again in near future :( I like your current theme too and it can be used after CNY too … I think I will have bigger problems after CNY, cham!!!
Yes if I look at it that way, Live Spaces do have more customised themes than Bloggers, but for Bloggers can customised ourselves.. it's all a matter of give & take then... Thanks thank.. I'm currently looking for a good theme for CNY.. hehe...
I think after CNY you can use other themes lar.. but dun stay up till din slp for 48hrs...
Esmeralda, if I were to change my current theme after CNY, it will be a big job as you have noticed I have a blog list at the side, if I were to change my theme, I have to re-do everything (including copy and paste all the URL of those one by one leh) coz the method shown to do it without having to re-do is too complicated for me :( Yes, Actually after I have change my theme into this, I really re-do the entire thing and that's how a computer dummy like me to it, hahaha. Good luck in searching for your CNY theme ya :) BTW, do you read mandarin??? Just curious :)

I try to change the header myself by dummy way too...but too short of time, my baby sometime did awake ask for nen-nen (I still BF)..then I tired and sleep while BF..hahaha!!

You all so pandai to create new header li... so envy :) I hope i got time to do in one day too, really not much ideas on some of the blogger functions, sometimes 'luan luan lai' (testing), haha...
