My Disposable Diaper Loot (Jan 09)

We went to groceries shopping yesterday and also replenished some of Angel’s diaper stocks. As hubby was quite boring to browse at the diaper sections all the time, he suggested why not we really stocked up as before so that we do not have to walk to the diaper section whenever we were at the market ….. Oh well, since hubby said so, I just grab as much as I can until our trolley was way overloaded!! So .... That's what we bought yesterday. Yes, I love stocking up on Angel’s diapers so much!! :P Actually Angel has been using some AIO cloth diaper lately but too bad, our washing machine was broken few days back and also, I find that I hardly have time to wash them in time as Angel is quite clingy to me lately. So I think I still need to stick with the disposables for the moment being.

Actually Angel has been using MP all these while but somehow, I have tried HU and found that HU also very good in terms of quality and cutting (but not other Huggi*s as you can see from my previous post :P). Therefore on day time, I will change her into HU and night time I will still stick with my all time favourite - MP. I do hope that this will be the very last stacks of disposable diapers that I will buy but that is of course depends “if” Angel is cooperative enough in her potty training. I wonder will my diaper stocks actually last that long?

A New Diaper Pants

I love to shop and to collect all sorts of pretty baby disposable diapers …… maybe because I think disposable diapers are one of the most brilliant creation on earth for mommies like me and the prints are so cute too :) Although I do hope that I am capable to collect the re-usable clothes diapers as well (pocket, AIO, OS diapers etc) but those are too pricey just to be kept inside the cupboard as a collection, right?

So when I go to Indonesia on my last trip, I found that MP pants have come out with an economy pack in their country (MP economy pack) as shown as below ….. as you can see, the left is the normal MP pants and the right is the so call Economy MP pants …… of course the quality of the economy pack cannot be compared with the normal MP pants which is the best of the best, as the price of the economy pack also much more cheaper then the normal ones. The economy pants also do not have the pooh print but instead, they have the green bear-bear print on it. The cutting also a bit different from the normal MP pants and half of Angel’s pet-pet is exposed due to the narrow design at the back, hahaha.



And today I get to know from some MP mommies such as MuiSim and mommy Ng that actually MP Malaysia starts to cater this ‘economy’ MP pants at the supermarket already as ‘MP Pants Value’ so I guess it will be a good news to all mommies having another option to choose from?

What Happened to her Diaper?

My Angel has a bad habit of poo poo in a new piece of diapers instead of her soiled ones. So today she has yet to pass motion so when I changed her, I decided to let her off her MP pants and put her on another brand of HD diaper which I just bought (just in case she needs to poo). 45minutes later she came to me making this weird sound and when I look, I saw these ……..



At first I have no idea what is that until I take off her pants and check, a huge opening was form infront of her diaper and most of the filling inside the diapers has came off scattering all over the living room, and it looks like her little finger has poked through the diaper. Gosh ….. I didn’t know the diapers can be so easily tear off by a little toddler’s finger and furthermore, it’s a new piece of diaper which I just put on 45 minutes ago and I wasn’t watching her for 5 minutes ……. I guess either my naughty girl really has a ‘fast and strong fingers’ or the diaper are really brittle. This is definitely a first encounter to me coz all these while, she has not poke through any of her MP diapers before. Luckily she didn't eat any of those filling from the diapers. So it’s a busy day for me coz I need to vacuum and mop the entire living room all over again, sigh!
