This is a very quick and simple bento I prepared for Angel. She loves the Tomato + Mince Chicken Rice which I made for her earlier so I have decided to use tomatoes in her rice again. So to make things quick and simple, I decided to do a very simple Starry Night bento for her. I love starry nights :)
I lightly stir fried some rice with one freshly chopped tomato, mince pork, finely chopped yellow onions and few stalks of spring onions, cut up some bananas and mangoes and shape out some of the remaining with my cookie cutter, punch some nori with the star shape puncher I bought from Daiso and also do a simple and nice crescent moon out of the water apples from the fridge and it’s done! Simple isn’t it? Although it’s a easy bento but it still take up more then normal required time for me to get it ready. *blush* Oh well, I just need to keep practicing then :)
So here is Angel’s extremely simple Starry Night Bento with a few animals gazing at the sky :) Angel did perform her “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” song before she digs in, hahaha. I have a very happy ‘baby’ happily enjoying her meal today :)

This bento looks yummy, even I wanna eat it too..... you are sure creative, I'm far behind and yet to start making my 1t bento for the kids.....muz catch up soon. :)

I noticed that Angel likes dishes that with tomato ya? For eg, pasta with tomato sauce and now fried rice with tomato?
So nice to know that she loves tomato. It is very nutritious.
Has she tried to eat those cherry tomato? Uncooked one?

whoa......Yummy food again. Ryan also like to eat tomatoes...I juz bought cherry tomatoes for Ryan recently,eat them raw n nice. Has Angel tried it be4??

Wah the dish look so yummy....clever gal cz she will eat what eva mummy had serve..then i noticed she like tomatoes so much...my boy dun like it cz my boy a bit fussy about certain food, especially if the food tat gv a weird taste (sour) like tomato:)

Wah, very nice bento!! You're so into bento-ing nowadays ya.. Angel is so lucky to have all these nice pretty foods to eat! Simple bento but was full of love... Your bento got so many varities of fruits eh, Mango, banana, water apple and water melon?! so keng... most of the times I will only keep 2 kinds of fruits in my fridge leh.. haha. Cos hubby doesn't like fruits, only me and Xixi sapu all the fruits most times...
Thanks to all for your lovely comments :) I am glad that Angel loves her meal with some decorations too. I am happy to make that for her if time permitted just to make my cooking for her feels a little bit extra special and interesting to keep me going :) Coz as some of you might know, I don't really like cooking that much actually :P

Joanne and Mery, oh ... I have yet to try the cherry tomato for her coz last time when I feed her food with tomato, she don't like them so after constantly expose her with tomato, she started to enjoy tomato now so maybe I will take it slowly and gradually expose her to cherry tomatoes :) I think cherry tomatoes are nice to eat too :)
I also want to try let Sarah to eat more tomatoes. Sometimes I noticed that she dislike tomato.
Ya..take it slow in introducing cherry tomatoes to Angel.
Joanne, don't worry .... My Angel use to hate tomatoes too and even ketchup! Now it's one of her favaourites :)
