Another back dated post :P :P ...... This year’s mother’s day was just a simple celebration for us. We had an early eating out with my brother & sister in Saisaki Japanese Restaurant and 7 of us all was stuffed until we couldn’t breathe anymore LoL Guess which food is Angel’s favourite food of all? …………. The deep fried quail!!! I think she has at least 2 quails all by herself.
And on the day itself, we went for a simple Chinese cuisine as my mom (Angel’s grandma) says she would like to have Chinese food for a change. Our dish was very simple too but very tasty. We ordered 1) Ginger Chicken 2) Steam Chicken 3) Fresh Prawn Salad 4) Mixed Zai Choi 5) Fried Bean sprout and 6) Fish bitter gourd soup for 4 of us. Angel loves the chicken so much and also eaten a lot of the bean sprouts (yes, she is willing to eat vege nowadays :) ) while my mom loves the soup. Again everybody was terribly stuffed so our initial plan for another round of ice cream after the dinner was cancelled eventually. Too bad :(
Hubby got me this handbag this year as my mother’s day gift. Hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm …… a black colour handbag? Is the design more suitable for shopping bag or as Angel’s diaper bag when we go out ??? I am not so sure about the colour and the design at first (honestly, what do you mommies think??????), but since it’s a gift from hubby, maybe I should think of some occasion to ‘use’ that bag so that hubby won’t be complaining that I always ‘store’ his gift of love in the cupboard as usual LoL I know I will grow to appreciate and love this bag one day when I have start using it ...... thank you dear for the lovely gift :)

You prefer smaller bags? You Hubby's so thoughtful...use lah..hehe..diff bags for diff ocassion mah. This bag can put alot of stuff so you don't have to carry Angel's diaper bag . I think it's a nice bag. :) Next time choose the bag yourself lor..hehe.

It's a pratical bag you know...diapers, wet tissues, makeups, hp, dig camera..anything can be stored there. It is even sweet..
Angel loves fried quails and chicken? Same with Ashton. Really meat-person.
Haha.. the bag? Well yeah it looks a bit too-bulky for me... as I have slightly smaller one from Sembonia too, but it's HEAVY when it's still empty. So I can't imagine if I were to put Ashton's stuffs into it. My shoulder will 'patah' like that.. Usually I ended carrying my handbag like a tot-bag (of coz securedly at my wrist) since it was so heavy... But black is definitely easier to match your outfits lar... But don't worry much. It's your hubby's initiative and love towards you, so appreciate it.. :)
Oh..forgot to tell you.. The design of the bag is very nice. It's chick, yet looks classy at the same time. Just hope tat it's light enuf for you ya...
So you like changing bags for different outings or just one-for-all? For me, I'm too lazy to switch bags around unless I'm going for a formal event, else it'll be just my good-old handbag. Too many stuffs - that's why too lazy. So usually I'll really 'dispose' of my handbag before considering of buying another one coz handbags in the closet will tend to be not as pretty as before (if you understand what I meant).

One thing you are right about the bag, it’s quite heavy even when it’s empty and the handle is the small type so means I can’t carry it on my shoulder :(
Actually I have quite a lot of bags but normally the one I use is just that 1 piece :) I am very lazy to switch bags too and after Angel came a long, I don’t have extra hands to carry my handbag (normally just bring her diaper bag which act as my bandbag too la) unless I went out alone. Actually I am eyeing on a Gucci handbag lately so maybe hubby thought I wanted a handbag (any handbag) lo, hahahaha.
Ouch.. seems like hubby got it all wrong ya? Don't worry... can 'bodek' him for your bday.. make sure you make your choice first and let him know. Too bad here don't have Gucci outlets... their bags are not bad too...
Yup I got one Sembonia handbag tat's why I know it's heavy. Usually I'll bring my normal heavy handbag, with Ashton's heavy diaper bag, but that usually only to my mum's. If we were to go shopping, it's either the diaper bag is left out, or my handbag is left out, depending on situations such as whether he has been diaper-changed, fed, etc...
Esmeralda, oh .... I am crazy about Gucci bags lately but the price is really "nice" too. So I am still thining whether to get it coz I don't use bag that often too .... it will be a waste.
When we were out, normally it will be to shopping for grocerries so I don't know whether I can manage the heavy bag, Angel's heavy diaper bag, carry Angel and also help with the heavy grocerries :) I guess when carrying those branded bags, normally will have maid following at the back to help with all those, right? Kekekekeke .....

For me I am agreed with all the mommies, I think the bag looked nice. I also like big bag. You know my current bag that used for outing and to store for Sarah's stuff is so much bigger than yours.
True Caroline. When going for an outing with our child, branded bags should be left at home. That's why I only bring my branded bags out whenever we have functions, not grocery shopping as it will be a waste coz I'll definitely be dumping my bag roughly whenever I need to carry lots of stuffs... :)
