Lunar CNY 2009 (Part 2 of 2)

2nd Day of CNY
Angel follows my mom to my SIL hometown (Brother’s wife) for jalan-jalan and makan-makan while I stay at home enjoying some peace and quite day :) I am so lazy to travel long distance again after so much travelling in the past few weeks. So at home I am having a jolly good time munching on cookies and biscuits, drinking Shandy, putting my legs up and watching Nicolas’s (张栋梁) concert on Astro …… and there goes my diet plan again :( Now I only realized that since Angel was born, I hardly have time to sit down and watch the TV. With Angel not around for a day, I really enjoy myself at home so much and it feels great. After Angel was back, my mom told me that Angel does not want to play with the other kids there and only wanted to do her block stacking game using other people’s Yeoh’s packet drink, hahaha! My mom also said that my SIL’s family was so amazed that Angel could take 1 full bowl of rice and also would sit still at the table and eat all by herself while the rest of the kid plays outside the house and refuse to eat their lunch. :)

3rd Day of CNY
We were spending the day at my brother place again, cooking and eating and another round of mahjong session :) Thinking of visiting PIL but I am so lazy and Angel is so cranky so at the end, we just stay at my brother’s place while Angel spending time with my parents. Night time I only found that my brother is feeding Angel with Shandy and it’s the very first time that she get to taste the drink. But unfortunately, I have refrained her from drinking too much and getting ‘drunk’ at such a young age. So I let her have some 100 plus instead and she is happy :P

4th Day of CNY
Angel went to Genting Highland for the very first time. She enjoys the cold weather there so much and the place was so packed with tourists!!! We didn’t enter the outdoor theme park as I forgot to brought Angel’s sweater along and we played at the indoor theme park instead. Of all the rides, she only fancies the Merry-Go-Round and took at least 5 rides!! I didn’t get to visit the Casino as Angel is so under age :) Maybe next round, Uncle Lim!!! :P :P Just can’t wait to bring Angel to the Outdoor theme park next time when we really spend the night over there again :)

5th Day of CNY
We went shopping with Angel but this time, my mom is in-charged of her :) We visited the MPH bookstores and shop for so much books for Angel. As usual, Angel is so cranky and crying for the entire day (there is always something that is forbidden that she wants, sigh!!) until my mom give up and said no more shopping if Angel is tagging along, hahaha! We didn’t get to buy much for the day because of our Cranky Queen. Having lunch at TGI*F @ The Curve but I must say that their service is so bad when it comes to serving parents with young kids. First of all they didn’t mention anything about kid’s meal until we need to asked them and when we nearly finished our meal, naughty Angel accidentally spilled the cup of water all over the table and the floor and some on herself. The waiter standing at the next table saw it but act as if he didn’t see that at all and while I wave for another waitress who is clearing up plates at the nearby table, she saw us but pretended that she didn’t notice us and walk towards the other directions and avoiding our table :( Then another waiter at the counter saw us but look the other side too. After trying to wave at another waiter but in vain, we just gave up, I stand up to paid the bills and leave. The waiter who collected our bill seems so unhappy that the water was spilled on the floor too :( If it’s not CNY, I think I will make a complaint to the management level with the name of the waiter and waitress all together attached with the photo of my wet table too. (Bad hor … :P) However, I must say that the food is good there. I am having the JD Steak which tastes so nice while my mom is having the JD Chicken. Angel is having the spaghetti but she didn’t finish her portion and started to make a fuss, don’t know why ……



6th Day of CNY Onwards ....
Shopping and more shopping while my mom helps to babysit Angel ……

All and all, it’s a peaceful and happy CNY for us spending time with both side of our family members this year. The one thing was Angel didn’t get to see a lion dance this round and it seems like the line dance in our area are so limited. We also didn’t get to take much picture this CNY as I am so busy chasing Angel around :( As hubby is not around with us after 1st day of CNY so I didn’t get to meet up with friends as it’s tough for me to bring Angel out alone so basically, we just meet up with all our relatives at their place only this round. So as for Angel’s, she does collected quite an amount of ang pow and I think I might need to open up a bank account for her soon :)

Can’t believe that CNY passes by so quickly and I guess it’s time for us to recharge and get back to our normal routine again :) I am glad actually…… :)
