Egg Menu

That’s how I prepare Angel’s meal with eggs lately. Normally After the porridge was cooked, I would add in a beaten egg and keep stirring until the eggs was fully cooked. The first porridge was Pumpkin Porridge with Eggs with Mix Vegetables (1st pix). The colour sure look nice due to the nice colour from the pumpkin :) I tried to cook Plain Scrambled Egg (2nd pix) for Angel too but unfortunately, she doesn’t like the taste of plain eggs unless I hide it inside her meal.

Below are the 2 types of Steam Egg with Mix Vegetables which I love to cook for her. As you can see, all those ingredients are so simple to prepare. I think kids do get good nutrition from it as the dish was loaded with various mixtures of vegetables and meat, less oily and yet taste nice too. Noramlly I would serve the steam eggs with plain rice / porridge for Angel or let her eat it just like that. I just love how easy this meal can be done and I am glad that she likes the dish too. Thanks to Mummy KC for giving me such a nice idea of steaming eggs for our little one :)

PeiWun, I think Sean will outgrow his allergy soon like what Angel did :)

Cath, hahaha ….your son is really funny lar!! Knows how to choose his meal pula tu :P Yeah, actually kids all love frying food (me too :P) and that’s why I do not want to expose Angel to too many frying and heavy flavoured food as yet and as long as possible until one day she rejects her bland meal. I do hope that she eats healthy and stay healthy and make it a habit since young :) But sometimes have to depends on kid as well, if the kid doesn’t want to eat anything then no choice, have to give in also la, right? Tak kan nak keep them hungry right?

JT, you are right, I think steam eggs also less heaty and not oily for young toddlers hor …. I just love doing steam food for Angel :) I am glad that Sarah loves steam eggs too but I think I didn’t came across your post about steam eggs hor. Will be glad if you could share with me too …. Can’t wait to steal some ideas from you again :)

Doreen, Angel outgrew her allergy towards eggs few months back (I have posted on that sometimes back), I am relief and happy now!!!
