Last week I got Angel her first balloon – a very pretty Minnie Mouse balloons and thought that she would be so happy to see it but oh no …… she was horrified that she cried out loud and tell us she is afraid!! Luckily the next day she is more ok and willing to play with it while chasing the balloon all over the living room (in her PJs still :P). She plays with the balloon but not crazy about it and when out of a sudden the balloon floated in front of her out of no where, she still will come to me and tell me she was afraid. I think she prefers those handheld balloons more then those floating ones. Ahhh …. I love x 10000 floating balloons when I was still a kid (and very shy to say that I still does at this age, kekeke .... ) but I guess that Angel doesn’t fancy it as much as I do. Daddy will be very happy because Angel gets to save him some balloons money in the future. Hhhmmm ….. I thought all kids likes this kind of balloons?

Angel still with her "pa-pa" attitude? Poor girl.. Well, Ashton 'got' (I mean he was given one in one of the weddings we attended) a floating balloon once, and he likes to hit the balloon and catch the balloon roughly till I almost screamed!!! Why? Bcoz this mummy is so scared of balloons!!!!!! Luckily the balloon given to him was a durable one. So I think I won't be getting him any balloons unless I know that those are durable, unbreakable one.
I think Angel prefer other toys.. but I don think that Minnie Mouse balloon is super cute!
hahaha.. so cute the pics of her showing that she is afraid.. she is indeed 'afraid' of many things recently doesn't she? u have to really be there for her to give her moral support.. she will outgrow this phase..

Actually she is very smart to express herself by tapping her chest. Gwen never do that just whine and cry. *sigh* Gwen likes all types of balloons but never try giving her this type. Maybe you expose her more, she will get used to it. They just need some reassurance and support.

Esmeralda, yup, she is still “pah-pah’ with most of the things but getting better I think. Hahaha ….. you are afraid of balloons ah? Ya …. I know how scary balloon will be if it burst out of the sudden especially near you but I just don’t think about that when I gave Angel the balloon. No wonder you think balloons are not cute at all, kekekeke ….. but how about those they used to make little puppet given out by the clowns? I think that’s durable and even burst will not have a big bang sound too .. Angel loves it :) Oh ya, and the one I got is not elastic type oh, it’s just like a normal glitter paper and it won’t burst leh, very safe!!! Maybe you could think of this type of you were thinking to get Ashton another balloon in near future :)
Merryn, I am giving her more then moral support leh, basically I am giving her physical and mental support now until I feel like I am actually her ;) Ya … I do hope that she will outgrow this phrase soon :)

Mummy Moon, TRUE!!!! The 2nd day Angel’s balloon is like floating half air and the 3rd day almost no gas already …… but I think most floating type of balloon will not last long la, or do you came across any that will last for more then a week? Then next time I can buy those instead.

Yes, I'm TERRIFIED of balloons I can say that.. Haha.. yup maybe can consider those kind of balloons u r talking about... The balloon that can be shaped into different shapes is OK but not those normal ones.. I'm scared by sudden noises... (scary-cat me)... so poor Ashton will have limited access to balloons.. haha... see when I can get the right balloon for him (and for me)..hehehe..

Talking about balloon, I also bought some balloon for Sarah. She likes to play with it and she also not afraid of it. Just today, she has picit the balloon till it burst. Can you imagine, two balloons burst at the same time.

I really can't resist floating balloons leh, once I saw it I will surely by it. Now that I have a daughter then I can say I buy for her lo ... it's more for me actually, hahahah .... I will feel happy if I saw balloons floating in the air gracefully :) No wonder they always will have balloon all over the place / releasing them during big functions coz it’s just so happy to watch them actually :)
Ya leh, coz I have seen her squeezing the balloon and I think the burst of it was caused by this action.
- Erm, that was the first time she burst the balloon. So she looked abit puzzled with what has happened! Hehe.
I also afraid of the loud burst from balloon. The most scary one is, when we are blowing it and out of sudden it burst! Scary!

I think Sarah is such a brave girl, coz even she looks puzzled but she didn't cry. Angel will cried even if she heard the smallest sound which she doesn't know.
Angel look so scare in the pic, may be she not friend with it yet so feel 'pak pak'... But i like the ballon so much, so cute !
