After such a long period staying in Thailand, Angel has mastered the Thai greeting ritual few months back. She would greet everyone while being asked to where she would stand properly, putting both her hands together, bow a bit and said
"SaWaDee ka~~!" (greeting in Thai language) in a very happy and jolly tone :) I love to see her doing that as she looks extremely polite and cute :)
Also that day when we was travelling in the car, Angel's grandma is talking to Angel
G: Angel, see .... the car is going up! Nah .... going down!
A: (watching without making a sound)
G: See .... tell mommy to steer the steering, turn turn turn left~~, turn turn turn right~~ .....
Then suddenly we heard
A: Dong-Bai Ka ~~ka ~~ ka.......... Kwa-Ka ~~ ka ~~ ka......... (while pointing to the front showing me the way :D)
We paused then laughing non stop!! Oh dear, Angel must have learn that from us while we was talking to the taxi driver in Bangkok :)
Actually Angel starts to give me directions but it's in all in Thai words!!! :D
Dong-Bai ka = Go Straight Please, while Kwa-Ka = Turn Right Please both in Thai language. We didn't expect that the first language that she learn in giving us directions (only directions so far) is actually in Thai :D Even back in Malaysia, she would also give us directions in her Thai language :P :P

Cath, I miss your blog too but no internet connection at my place still :(
- Initially we are planning to shift to Bangkok for good but not now I guess :( I love this place actually :)
Yugene, you are so right :) So I would talk carefully from now on :)
MummyGwen, yes …. It sounds so funny actually :) But it’s music to our ears :)
Agnes, wow …. I think it’s good that Chloe learn BM at home from Kakak coz it will be so much easier when she went to school later. Yup, as long as she can remember all those languages, why not right? But for Angel’s case, maybe that’s the reason she speak very late coz she listen to the TV and other people speaking Thai most of the time, then at home, we speak Mandarin and English for her whilst she saw mommy and hubby speaking Cantonese, then her grandparents speaking Hokkien to her.
Racheal, Yes …. We are in Bangkok on and off but we will be moving soon. You love Bangkok too?? Ya …. The massage here is super cheap and the shopping ….. no fight for that at all!!!!! I really love this place actually :)
MamaMia, thanks :)
MummyRyan, I just hope that she won’t be confused :)
Doreen, errmmm ….. hubby didn’t really know how to speak Thai but I can speak very very little la :)
Irene, hahahaha .... that’s good enough for you :) Oh ya, the tomyam that Thai cooks are so yummy!! And I love their papaya salad too ….. *hungry*
mNhL, ya … it sure does :) Next time go back to Bangkok can bargain the price with the seller too :)
Kristie, Oh ya …. You are so right! The way they speak is so soft and ‘lam-sei-yan’. I talk so harshly when I speak my Thai at first making me look like a ‘ah-kuah’ at first, hahahahaha …. Then finally no choice but have to follow their soft tone too :) :) kekekekeke ….. so funny!!!
- I hardly can get angel on Video lately, once she saw the camera, she won’t do what she is doing instantly :( Did you experiencing that with Jayden?
- Yes, we based here due to hubby’s job and actually “WE” use to work here but now only hubby is working lo. Yes, we always come back to KL and KK and that’s why you can see me ‘flying’ once every 1-2 months time lo. But hubby will be moving our from Bangkok soon :)
Hweili, yes …. Kids their age is very observant and I bet your Chloe is the same too right? That’s why sometimes talking to her I really have to think twice to make sure I use the right manner and words, hehehehehe ……
Sha, thank you :)
Angeline, oh really? Then you must know Thailand pretty well in and out especially where to get nice and cheap things :) I love Thailand very much actually coz they are very very polite, very hamble, very soft spoken and very friendly too …. Oh, I just love this place and surely will miss there a lot when I am back in Malaysia :)
Ann, thanks :)
Judy, hahahaha …. Yes, in terms of giving out direction, I think Thai is the only language that she hear us saying :)
- oh, I love Thai songs too! You sure know how to pick music ya and very international too :)
- everytime she did the thai greetings, sure everyone will looks surprises :) But sure looks very cute lah and that’s why we always asked her to say it when greeting people here :) Luckily so far, she still obey :)
Merryn, hahahaha …. Sure is very cute!!! Coz I didn’t get to see her so ‘obedient’ normally :)
Mery, Hahahahaha ….. being a Thai girl also not bad leh, very ‘soft spoken’ and polite :) But I don’t think we will be staying in Thailand for long la. Only will visit once in a while also coz I love this place :)

Jayden sometimes looks away from the camera but nowadays when we take a picture of him, he will automatically smile at the camera, so cute hehe...
Soon where will ur hubby's job be moving to? :)
Serene, I did laughing non stop when the very first time I heard her saying Sawadeeka too :P
Kristie, Oh … in that case taking picture for him is such a breeze as he would look at the camera and give you his sweetest smile, oh …. How sweet!!!
