I know my sushi doesn’t look very good there but that’s the very fist time after maybe ….. 7-8 years that I pick up the bamboo matt and roll out my sushi again. Hence I think those pictures certainly means something to me and a must keep (post) for me :P I used to be quite good in making sushi when I was in the UK where hubby (bf then) always asked me to make! Make! Make! and then we will eat that so call 'sushi-of-love' for our breakfast, lunch and also dinner, straight chilling from the fridge in the cold winter days :P I think my not-so-secret secret ingredient we all love most is the mayo!! And now I am making and sharing those sushi with my little girl …… really didn’t anticipated that ever in my life :)
The funny thing is she dare not to touch the sushi at the beginning, must be wondering what’s that white thingy with the black wrapper at the side :P She is afraid of food in black looking colour ……. but me and hubby didn’t coax her or anything, I just place the sushi in front of her while me and hubby let her watch us gobble down our sushi in no time :) Finally she made her first move and thank god, I am glad that our little picky eater at home loves it as much as her daddy and mommy does :)
I think she took 10 small sushi for her dinner that night :)

Sedapnya! Ethan loves sushi too, but I dont give him the raw type lah. I dont do sushi, but my cousin does. Then I curi curi do one with sooo much wasabi hidden inside and gave my BIL eat. Needless to say, he ran helter skater to throw that out!

I too have not been rolling sushi for so many years. The last time I did that was when I'm still single, and staying with my mum in our old house.
Hehe.. Angel can eat the sushi ya? I've tried letting Ashton eat a piece sushi when we were dining outside, but I guess he dislikes the sourish taste... he just eat the filling.. *sigh*
oh.. Angel had a new high chair? Looks different from her previous one if I can recall.

Merryn, hahahaha … you are so naughty!!! Poor man!! I love sushi but I don’t dare to eat wasabi too …. Just can’t stand the weird taste of it, hehehehe.
Ann, some kids doesn’t like the seaweed too. Sometimes I would finely chopped the seaweed and mixed it into the sushi rather then wrap it up like that :)

- yup, Angel likes the sushi. Even we are having Japanese food and if I can’t find anything which is not spicy for her, we will order her some normal sushi and she can eat 2 plates contain of 8 sushi in it. Sometimes she will peel the seaweed and ask me to eat la, hahahahaha …. Don’t’ know why.

Hehe... Ashton can't swallow the seaweed too.. and some more the colour is dark green.. so he will think tat it's black in colour.. he's quite picky when it comes to food.
Your hubby must be very happy that his little angel enjoys the sushi. So now he can enjoy his food of love again. lol.

- Angel also hates food which is black in colour but since I introduced pitted prunes to her, she is more ok with black colour food … she won’t eat all of them but she is willing to try thinking / hoping that they might be as nice as prunes :)

Yeap, I love salmon sushi, maybe because I love the freshness of the meat that goes with the rice.
Joanne, I love sushi a lot as long as all the ingredient is cooked :) I used to love oyster a lot and take a lot of it until I vomit (too full). Since then no more oyster to me :) Phobia maybe :P :P
I bet Salmon sushi taste really nice. I don’t really like fish actually. My family eat a lot of fish and maybe that’s why now that if I have a choice, I will not pick fish as my meal :)
