I must jot this down before I forgot .........
While Angel sleep over with her grandparents for couple of weeks, I miss her so much and would called her every 1-2 days just to listen to her voice. Her vocabulary is not very strong yet so she would just babble and babble over the phone for 15 minutes with all her baby talks ^_^ Although I can’t understand a word of hers but I sure enjoy listening to her sweet little voice over the phone ... hoping that it will make me missing her less (but at the end, I miss her even more .....)
M: Hello Angel ~~ … Call me.
A: Hello ....... Mommy ~~~
M: Good Girl *smile* Are you being a good girl today?
A: x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x (her babbling)
M: Did Kung Kung and Ah Mah bring you to kai kai?
A: x x x x x x x x (her babbling again)
M: Kuai (乖)…… is it ? So you did go out to kai kai .....
A: x x x x x x x x x x (her babbling again)
M: Oh …. Oh …. (Pretend to understand what she is saying) So you be a good girl ok?

*After talking and singing a few songs to her*
M: OK …. Mommy 'sayang' Angel ok?
A: x x x x x x x x ....... 'I Sea U' (suddenly she say it in a very soft tone)
M: What did you say …….... ?? (holding my breathe)
A: ....... 'I Sea U'
M: ……………………………………. (holding back my tears this time)
A: x x x x x x xx x x x x x x
M: OK lah, Angel, You are Mommy’s Good Girl …… Mommy love you very much OK? Come say ‘Bye Bye’ to Mommy (Have to cut the conversation short)
A: Ok ..... Bye Bye …. (she must be waving bye bye at the same time)
Once I put down the phone, I nearly broke down in tears because I missed her so so so so much but yet, feeling very contented at the same time. Sometimes it’s so hard to imagine that my 2 years old little girl who is still babbling all these while would suddenly say ‘THAT’ to me over the phone *sniff sniff*

Kids are different when you talk to them over the phone. Sometimes I like to 'kacau' my girl, I call her to talk and feel so good to hear her voice too !
:') Angel is such a good girl; my kids would have protested to be away from mummy for so long...

MummyGwen, I think I have never missed somebody that long and that much! But I bet Gwen knows how to speak and convey what she wants to say already right? For Angel, she will speak on the phone but babbles and babbles only lo, can’t get a word out of it yet. But when we are talking face to face, she will speak in 2 -3 word sentences but not over the phone wor, don’t know why.

Health Freak Mom, because I have some matter to sort out and also she gets to spend some times with her grandparents too :) Can’t have her with me all the time :) :) Actually she loves to go to her grandparents’ place :)
Esmeralda, she is very independent since young :) She can stay overnight at any place as long as there as kids / tv there :) She is very easy to adapt to one place and to another person with not much problems. Don’t know is that good or bad??

I have been crying like a baby quite a lot lately too, then sometimes watching TV out of the sudden will burst down in tears :( But I guess it’s a good training for me to be stronger la coz she will not forever by my side :) Until she went to school and wanted to be with her friends more ah, I think I will cry too :P :P Silly mommy I am :P

Esmeralda, sometimes I think that super glue is sweet too … at least you get the sense of “he needs mommy”. Unlike my Angel, she can survive anywhere with anybody I guess, when she is with me, she will stick to me like a glue but when there is someone she could play with, she will totally forgot about mommy :(

Yes I'm really a tap water. I can get teary just by seeing someone shed tears. Previously when we are still dating, even when hubby went outstation for few days also I will be crying whenever he calls me to talk to me... which I think is so childish for me to do that... ;((

Caroline, the crying was when we were still 'single married couples'. After having Ashton, I no longer shed tears for hubby when he is away coz I have Ashton with me.. kekeke...
Esmeralda, hahahahaha ..... I sort of have the same feelings too, as long as our little ones are beside us, we won't feel so sad anymore when our hubby is not at our side. :)
